Water Jet
JetMachining is a proven process in precision part production. JetMachiningâ will machine complex flat parts out of most materials – including metal, plastic, glass, ceramics, and composites – to an accuracy within +/- .003", directly from a CAD drawing or .DXF file. It also cuts extremely hard, reflective, and non-conductive materials, making it a natural addition to existing shop capabilities.

Sheet Metal
Shearing capacity is as follows:
- .090 thick in Cold Rolled Steel
- .074 thick in Annealed Stainless Steel
- .090 thick in Copper Alloys
- .125 thick in Aluminum
Power Brake capacity:
- 4 feet in length
- 28 tons capacity
Thickness capacity is 16 gauge.
Punch Press
TRICOSS' punch press tonnage ranges from 5 tons up to 85 tons.
Progressive Dies
Our vast experience in the field will help you in determining whether your design will benefit by producing a progressive die for stampings with a high volume. On long runs, airfeeds are used on progressive dies. A progression strip is shown below.

Wire Forms
TRICOSS can produce parts out of both round and square wire, short and long runs. We can custom design and manufacture to your requirements, in any quantity desired. We wil work with you engineers to solve any wire form problems.
We work with a wide variety and range of materials in the production of simple and complex wire forms. We produce parts that range from .015 to .156 in diameter in spring material; up to .250 diameter in cold rolled steel; and up to .312 diameter in the copper and aluminum families.
Heat Treating
Some heat treat and stress relieve processes are done in-house. If there is a heat treat process that TRICOSS is unable to perform at our facility, we send it out to a certified outside source who will heat-treat to your specification. Those sources are within the Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
Plating and Powder Coating
All plating or finish you need on your parts will be sent to a certified outside source within the Ventura or Los Angeles counties. Parts are plated to your specifications, including some military specifications.
